The Blue and Gray Education Society is hosting a tour of Boston, Lexington, and Concord. The 2 people leading the tour are Rob Orrison and Mark Maloy of the Emerging Revolutionary War.
Both men are authors or co-authors of several books on the War of Independence. Mr. Orrison is the co-author of "The Battles of Lexington and Concord and the Beginning of the American Revolution, April 19, 1775." Mr. Maloy gives a great presentation on Parker's Revenge and the archeology that led to changing the location of where that skirmish took place on April 19.
Mr. Orrison and Mr. Maloy were 2 of the people who led the Emerging Revolutionary War tour I went on last October and they were excellent tour guides.
They, along with several other members of the Emerging Revolutionary War group, video documented the events of the 250th Anniversary of April 19, 1775. They have established a page on Youtube with their videos. One video is of Mr. Maloy talking about George Washington leaving Mt. Vernon for the Continental Congress and his letter we often quote in the Third Strike of the Match. "...a brother's sword sheathed in a brother's breast...."
