While scheduling a 25m rifle clinic on Memorial Day weekend meant we were competing against all of the other typical activities, I thought it was completely appropriate. Our shared American Heritage includes those who died in service to their country on April 19, 1775. We had 11 eager shooters who were incredibly attentive and showed great improvement over the weekend. We had individuals and three family groups of dad's and their kids.
Congratulations to Jane for re-qualifying rifleman. We also had three individuals clear the hits count target. A few of our shooters came very close to getting rifleman. Everyone showed great progress and with perseverance, I'm sure they will also achieve rifleman.
Thanks to the Ames Ikes for hosting us again. And thank you to the instructors for their great instruction and example.
I'll post pictures shortly.
