As for the weekend and the weather, it was pretty rainy. On Saturday, we just got done and were on the road, and then buckets of rain and hail fell from the sky. I was thankful for all the help that our shooters gave us on Saturday to get out of the range in record time.
We had a great group of shooters this weekend. Out of twelve shooters, eight of them were Riflemen, and five of them were new Riflemen. We also had three people who cleared the Hits Count target. And I gave one to the youngest shooters I've ever given a patch to. She was 20 points short of making Rifleman but cleared the Hits Count target and took home a Maryland Immortal 400 patch. She was the only one in her family who had one that day.
I was very honored by the Virginia and New York shooters at our event. They travelled a long way to be with us.
Also, I have to give a shout-out to the geese who enjoyed watching us shoot for the entire Sunday event.
