Another great Patriots Day Appleseed at NW Wisconsin's staunchest supporter, Indianhead Rifle and Pistol Club!

Pictures first, talk about it after I take the dogs out and lock up the chicken coop.

What a great celebration of Patriots Day!

Our first AQT on Saturday produced four Riflemen/Woman. New Riflewoman Bella scored a 210, ultimately improving to 219. Leading the initial requalifiers, Ben (aka Kimber Custom) came out of the gate with an event best of 239, Rob (aka BugginOut) scored 218 and Mark (aka GuardtheFire) shot a 214. Luke followed up with a 222 requal on Sunday after experiencing some jet lag on Saturday where he came to our Appleseed directly after finishing his Friday night EMT shift.

Ava, Savannah (soon to be Mrs. Luke), Jeremiah (aka Panzer) and Caleb all steadily progressed over the course of the weekend. Please do what Riflemen do and persist. The Rifleman patch will be yours if you do so.

I wish to extend my heartfelt personal thank you to my fellow Instructors. Ken, Chris, Jeff, Jaxon and Mark made this event happen. I'm just the old guy who hauled the gear and kept track of the paperwork.

The Memorial Volley on Sunday was an emotionally charged event for students and the cadre. We are blessed because of the choices and actions of Patriots a quarter of a millennium ago and that thought will remain with all of us for time immemorial.

Thank you again everyone! See you on the Trail soon!

Mike/Taylor

Thanks for carrying on the torch of liberty. This crew was in the dirt, engaged, and mastered the emotional ties that is Project Appleseed. Fred would be proud.

Congratulations, Taylor, on 100 shoots. You have done an excellent job training your replacements. Your Red Hats shined this weekend, taking the lead and passing on marksmanship to another generation.

The memorial volley was inspirational. Huzzah to all who participated.

Wow! I was just hoping my right knee would last all weekend. Thank you Ben for your feedback. My crew is my family and we all appreciate your perspective.
