The 250th anniversary is on Saturday! What are we waiting for?
SB scrambles to start booking ranges, and gets a slew of "Easter weekend?"
After failing to reschedule Easter, we proceeded with a 1-day anniversary event, within a few miles of the north bridge, on the actual day, because how could we not?
It went very well. Our shooters were ready and eager in the morning, and kept up with us all day, through a frankly exhausting pace of teaching, demoing, and shooting, but at the end of the day the story was told, Colonel Smith was unhorsed, the memorial volley fired, AQTs shot and patches awarded, and nobody was the worse for wear.
A huge thanks to all our shooters, and to those instructors who spent their Saturday with us, watching the line , telling the story, and running the drills.
Huzzah!
One day events are pretty tiring. I hope you guys saved some energy to go visit at least one of the sites you talked about afterwards. Happy 250th!

Matt, Pat, Sean, Lesky and the highly flexible instructor who's name I can't recall,
Thank you each for running a fun, informative, and safe shoot. I hope everyone had as much fun as I did! What a special Day.
Regarding the 2 blown case head failures I experienced, CCI, the manufacturer of the ammo I was using, was extremely responsive - They've already picked up the remaining ammo from that lot for testing and evaluation. They suspect "Brittle Case Heads" as the likely cause. That's impressive customer service!
Hope to see you all again on the line.
