Title: Brief article in National Review about Revere's ride, Lexington, and Concord
Post by: Yrisarri_blacksmith on April 18, 2025, 01:11:12 PM
There's nothing in here that we all haven't heard a million times, but I enjoyed seeing it.  He even quotes David Hackett Fischer's book.

Very sorry, I thought they allowed 4 free articles before that kicked in.

Is it permissible to post a PDF "printed" from the article here?

I created a PDF from the web page and uploaded it to google drive.  Hopefully this link will work:

I had to request access to the drive - let's see if it works.

Thanks for posting & see you tomorrow!

I had failed to set permission to "anyone with link", but I have fixed that. Now it should work for everyone.

Sorry about that.

Oh, and for what it's worth, in the comments section of the article, someone posted this comment:

Listen my children, and give your applause,

For the midnight ride of William Dawes.

(From a Globe article by Billy Baker, lamenting the vanishing of Dawes's contribution. Unfortunately,
Baker's muse gave up without further poesy.)
