A beautiful weekend for an Appleseed in Wisconsin.
A sunny enough Saturday to get you just a little sunburned, and an overcast enough Sunday to not make it worse. Rain threatened Sunday, but didn't dare try to dissuade these patriots.
We began day 1 with a range of skills and by the time we came together again for day 2, groups were shrinking and skills were growing.
We heard the story of how "regular folks" were able to start a Nation, and how Dangerous Citizens were able to do more than their part. We were there at Parker's Revenge - when the Left Side won Redcoat Bunnies (twizzler bunnies) - and stood together to honor the names of the fallen when there was no rain to blame for wet faces.
This was a great event, with an outstanding group of patriots. No new riflemen just yet, but I know they're close.
Pictures soon to come!
