Awesome Appleseed event.  11 shooters on the line with 4 new Riflemen: Ty, Josh, Steve & Bob.

It was really great to see 4 people make rifleman at an event with 11 shooters.  Conditions were windy with a lot of blowing sand and dust but everyone seemed to have a great time.  We even had a couple of people, who originally intended to watch, decide to give it a try on Sunday.  Middlegate Station did a great job taking care of everyone.  The food was excellent as was the atmosphere.  Paul, a local musician, provided the entertainment with his outstanding guitar playing, great vocals and huge repertoire of songs.  Johnnyappleseed and John, the instructors, put on a great event and kept things moving along smoothly.  See you all at the next one.

This was my first Appleseed and I had a great time.  Wish I had brought the camper up and stayed out at Middlegate!  Thanks to all that put it on and made for a great shoot and experience.  I'm already looking at my schedule and Appleseed events to see which one I can make next, although the next ones will probably have to be in AZ.  Fallon is further away on the drive home than it is on the way there.   ;)

Congratulations new riflemen 4 out out of 11 wow thats thats like 44ish%. That JohnnyAppleseed he'll bring the riflemen out in ya.

Any new orange hats out of the group.

My schedule is completely full for May.  I'm in the middle of the state, so I can get to Reno, Boulder City or Elko in about the same amount of time.

I'll be at the NRA Annual Meeting in Phoenix the weekend of May 15th, so the Elko and Boulder City events are out.  I'll be attending a 4 day advanced integrated handgun class, which is only taught once a year, at Front Sight on Memorial Day weekend so the Reno event is out.

I'm looking into the Reno event on July 25 & 26.

Congrat's on stepping up, Darrellm5 and Ty make sure you PM Nickle and let him know your stepping up and he can put you on the IIT list.

I'm late to the party... :)

It was a great shoot...  My wife will be shooting at the Reno event this weekend, so I'll be visiting to get her setup at least.  I'm looking at going to the July shoot as well, work permitting.
