Title: Paul Revere's Ride Reenactment
Post by: BluegrassColonel on March 18, 2025, 06:37:56 PM
The Paul Revere House has as a scheduled event reenacting Paul Revere's activities the evening and night of April 18, 1775.

From their event page:

QuotePaul Revere's Ride to Revolution: A Commemoration of Revere's Legendary Departure from Boston on April 18, 1775
5:30 – 10:00 PM
Various locations, all elements FREE

Here is a link to the events page:

If you plan on attending any of the events in Boston, Lexington, and/or Concord for the 250th anniversary of April 19, 1775, I strongly suggest you arrive early and expect very slow transportation from site to site.  I understand from the manager of the Lexington visitor center gift shop that the reenactment on the Lexington Green will be practiced in the evenings leading up to the morning of April 19.  Attending one of the practices might be the only way to actually view it given the expected crowd sizes the morning of the actual anniversary.

Sure wish I could attend. One of the instructors, TxJim, is going to Battle Road in April.

Are there other instructors going this year? Jim had asked if I knew if there were going to be any instructors there this year. He'd like to meet up with a few of y'all.

If there are any arrangements or a meeting place there let me know and I'll get him in touch with y'all.
