Maisey was recently in a bad accident leaving her in critical condition. Maisey (aka Historybuff) has not been active on the Appleseed circuit recently, but is still very active in the shooting community and CMP circuit.
Maisey was the former director for Women's League at my local range, SaraSpa Rod & Gun Club before moving to Tennessee with her fiance. She is well known in the local shooting community and we all love her very much! She has been an integral part in helping lots of women become better marksmen.
I am waiting to find out more details but I am reaching out to the Appleseed community to ask for everyone's prayers that Maisey recovers from this horrible ordeal. There will be a prayer vigil 17:30 est tonight at St. Marys Church in Ballston Spa NY.
Please pray that our friend and comrade has a speedy recovery!

Prayers inbound. I pray everything works out for the best and she comes out stronger than ever.
Hoping for the best. Maisey attended a few events in NH. One Sunday long ago we ran something like 13 AQTs and her scores ranged from 241-249. Also saw her last year at the CMP Eastern games.
🙏🙏🙏
RangeDog was in contact with her family. She is stable now with broken facial bones, fractured arm, brain bleeds, hopeful, but it will be a long road
Thanks for posting an update Matt. I pray she has a full recovery.

She will be in our prayers. I watched her dance around the 250 score at Appleseeds in Maine. She is one of those shooters that people stand around and watch.

She is! I LOVE watching her shoot trap. We shot in the rain one night and it didn't slow Maisey down one bit. She shot with the thrower set on wobble and it was amazing watching her lead and then shoot the clay just before it would hit the ground!
Word is, though stable now, she is still in a coma till her ICP levels go down. Keep praying for her recovery!
This is not easy to type.
With great sadness I want to inform everyone Maisey passed away from her injuries this morning. She was always at my early Appleseed events and was super helpful in working with my sometimes stubborn persona to improve my NPOA shift or trigger squeeze. As a member of the SaraSpa range she was always helping out with projects around the range.
She will be greatly missed. Please keep her family in your prayers.
I'm struggling with what to say. I'm sorry this happened.
Oh, no....
Sad day when our program loses a member of the family.
My deepest condolences to her family and those close to her. What a tragedy.

Thank you for sharing. I really have no words. We lost a very special person far before her time and I am heart broken. I pray she is comforted and safe in our Lords presence now.

I wish that there was something more that I could say. It's tragic that a fine person and true patriot has passed from us through such a senseless act. My sincere condolences.

I was very sorry to hear this sad news from Nikki while she was here in Michigan. I wish I could have had the opportunity to Appleseed with her. My deepest condolences to all who knew and loved her
Excerpt fromthe AAR of a 2014 event at SaraSpa when Maisey made rifleman.
And that brings us to a lady that the entire Instructor Staff has watched over so very carefully since she first came to us at the Appleseed Event at the SaraSpa Range on April of 2012. Her drive, determination and heart do truly humble us. It was a memorable day in all of our lives to be there, two years later at the SaraSpa Range, on April of 2014 to share the moment when Maisey fired a 227 AQT!!!!
