Sounds like y'all are doing good. Got this email awhile ago:
My 13 year old son, B, and I attended Project Appleseed with our TrailLife group from January 18-19 at Manatee Gun and Archery Club in Myakka City, Florida. I previously had limited exposure to shooting a rifle and it was my son's first time shooting any firearm. Shoot Boss Steve and his team of experts did a phenomenal job teaching the entire group of us, close to 50 boys and dads. Even though I have extensive handgun experience and shot rifles a few times, my grouping at the start of day one left a lot to be desired. By the end of day two, I felt like an expert marksman with how much progress I made because of the team's instruction. My son started all over the target and by the end he had a pretty tight grouping. I was super impressed how quickly he took to shooting and excelled at it, again, because of the terrific instructors. We also had a wonderful time hearing about the beginnings and reasons why the Revolutionary War occurred. We can't wait to attend another Project Appleseed event in the future, thanks again for what you do and God bless!
These are the sorts of messages that make it all worth it. Between the sheer number of people, every rifle on the line being a loaner, and a sudden thunderstorm on Sunday, that shoot was an adventure. Thanks for sharing, scuzzy!
That's wonderful! It was a great event! Thank you for sharing!
Very cool! 😎
