Title: State patches are here!
Post by: Flintlock54 on January 02, 2025, 10:15:43 PM
This took longer than expected but they arrived today. Special thanks to Amy at Main Street Signs for proper graphic design work. They are 3" square, very nice!

The best way to get a Missouri patch is to become a volunteer in Missouri or visit us and do volunteer duty from another state.

I would like to get more involved.  There just doesn't seem to be much activity down in the southwest corner of the state.  I'm in the Neosho/Joplin area.  Me and my son did our first shoot last year over by arma Kansas and here in a couple weeks we're gonna do it again, along with several other people I have recruited.

Me and my little brother have been talking about meeting in Texas to do a pistol shoot though, maybe it's just too soon to be seeing very many around me?

Yes, the program has suffered in the southwest, we haven't had instructors there for several years and it's tough to get something moving that far away. If you have  access to a range that have interested members or know of a group such as homeschoolers, church, Trail Life, etc, that can get a dozen or so to attend we might be able to put something together. There are a lot of logistics to be solved.

I've been to a couple events in Kansas, they do a good job.

I really like the guys in Kansas, they did a great job!

Black rain is just a few miles from my house and they have a good range there and are big on promoting training.  I think getting a dozen people wouldn't be too bad, I can ask around.
