Title: Monitoring the Globe
Post by: Flintlock54 on December 12, 2024, 03:25:15 PM
Years ago my hometown newspaper, The Monitor, had a human interest section called "Monitor the Globe" where people sent pictures of themselves traveling. I thought it would be fun to do similar things here. History / firearm/ Appleseed related, of course

This is yours truly next to a 3" ordinance rifle made in 1863. I'm at Top of the Rock near Branson, Missouri. My wife, who took the photo, said I could have on but I can't shoot it at home.

16" shells on the USS North Carolina - remember this is just the projectile.  The powder is loaded separately.  For scale, I'm 5'10".

 That trumps my ordinance rifle!
