Thank you to Western Montana Fish & Game Association for offering us a bay for the weekend for a Winterseed. It is a world class facility and we appreciate their support.
Saturday started out with 22 degrees and heavy frost that kept us from using tarps as it made it super slippery.
Two repeat families and one new brave soul showed up for his first Appleseed in the cold! Four youths braved the cold.
We had a great shoot with varying temperatures, snow pellets, wind and mud. Spirits stayed high and everyone had fun. We dwindled to four shooters on Sunday which made for a nice little intimate shoot and historical storytelling.
Thank you all for coming out and showing your dedication to the cause by braving the winter cold for our country.
We will see you on the range in April!
It was a good winterseed. I hope we get 3 feet of snow next time
It was especially encouraging to see my two boys getting past their mental barrier snd starting to be consistent on all stages.
Finally achieving "distinguished" on a winterseed was a welcomed personal goal that is now re-achieved
