This event was outstanding in so many ways. First it was a sell out plus one extra. There was 18 students under the age of 18 and we had no issues with safety or instructions. We had seven riflemen and only one was a repeat offender. He signing up as a new Orange hat. We had three orange hats (one first time as an instructor) they all did outstanding. Most of the students spent the night on the range (benefit of the home range) the campfire talks were very informative to both myself and the people that were listening to me talk. History after hours. The three Red hats I had on line were ready to help anyway they could. I just told them to help make riflemen and they each helped two before the weekend was over. You can't ask for a better crew. We did a rimfire KD where each shooter got one shoot at 100 and 150. To the surprise of the instructors most of the line hit both targets. Hearing steel ring out is very enjoyable. Thanks Jesse for setting it up and also thanks Steve for providing the extra spot for the extra shooter.
