This was our last event for the year at the Parma range. The events for 2025 have been posted and this includes a Winterseed in February. This is our first attempt at the Parma range to attempt to hand out the special Winterseed Rifleman patch.
While this was a small group, the enthusiasm was great. The students can to reinvigorate themselves with the Spirit of Liberty and also get in some trigger time. The students absorbed the skills taught to them and were all shooting to the 4 MOA standard that Project Appleseed teaches. The students were also engaged by the history stories told throughout the weekend.
Cody was able to shoot a 210 point Rifleman score and was baptized in the waters of the North Bridge. Good shooting Cody and thanks for being a good sport about having water poured on you in November.
Remember, persistence is a characteristic of a Rifleman. You can practice the skills you learned through dry practice on the comfort of your living room carpet. Pick a spot on the wall and practice your NPOA shifts while maintaining good Steady Hold Factors while using the six steps to fire the shot on each trigger squeeze. You can refresh yourselves on these techniques from the Rifleman's Guidebook that was distributed during the class.
I hope to see everyone again at an Appleseed event, and I look forward to you showing off your skills.
In Liberty,
Griff
