How do I 10/22?

Replace Extractor with Volquartsen
Replace mag release, dealers choice
Install auto bolt release (or modify factory part with a small round file)
Replace scope rail with 20MOA extended rail (or Tech sights)
Replace bolt buffer with Tuffer Buffer
Radius heel of bolt (600 and 1200 grit sandpaper backed by a sheet of glass)
Polish top of bolt (600 and 1200 grit sandpaper backed by a sheet of glass)
Replace barrel with one from Green Mountain (frequently on sale in December)
Sand the sides of magazines so they are flat
Using a sheet of glass and 1200 grit sandpaper, carefully clean up the trigger parts

Shoot 50 shot groups with each of a dozen varieties of ammo, select the best performing to be the standard ammo used in this specific rifle.

Your experience may vary from mine.

Here's my family portrait. I never do any two the same. The green one in the Magpul stock started b/c I realized I was a stock, a bolt, and some tech sights away from being able to build an Appleseed rifle out of parts sitting around my basement.
