The weather was perfect for Appleseed this weekend. Sunny and in the 70s.
We had nine shooters this weekend ranging in age from 14 to 59 and all skills levels. We had several returning shooters, and some first-time Appleseeders. One shooter came all the way from California and a father with his fr201daughter and son came 7from Alabama. The shooters all showed up with teachable attitudes, and listened intently to both the History of 19 April 1775 and the instruction provided by all of our awesome instructors, as shown by the progress made by all of the shooters. We had three Riflemen on day one - 2 re-quals and 1 first-timer.
Tony a previous rifleman from California earned is Distinguished patch with a 242. Alan requalifed with a 214, and Anthony, Tony's son, scored rifleman with a 226 and backed it up on day two with a 230!
Mike, Justin and Beau all scored Sharpshooter, while Delanie and Benjamin both scored Marksman!
A special thanks to the Hurlburt Field Rifle and Pistol Club. They are always very supportive of our Program!!
Also, thank you to all of the instructors, Gunjunkie, Waky, Konaboy, Patriot1775, and Bristang all did an amazing job - and of course, Pop 24/7 our Applecore who worked the check-in table, scored targets and RSO'd - very much appreciated!
CONGRATS to Mrs. Waky for passing her SBIT2; Bristang for passing his PC2, and Pop 24/7 for promoting to AC/RSO!
It was another great Appleseed weekend!

Congratulations Mrs Waky on making progress........ 8-)
Great job! Another awesome event for the Panhandle. Hazza!
Hats off to Just Kim and her cadre of professionals! I absolutely enjoyed my time with them, and it was long overdue from my first Appleseed at Dulzura, Ca in Oct 2011.
Semper Fidelis,
Abu Josh (aka Alan)
It was a great weekend. I had a great time. I made progress toward my Green hat and I can't wait to continue on the Appleseed journey.
What a great weekend, the weather was perfect and liberty was in the air. We had a fantastic group of patriots, all extremely interested in our history and heritage.
Congratulations Tony on your distinguished patch, job well done. Congratulations Anthony on your rifleman's patch and Alan on his re-qualification great job.
Thanks to all the instructors for your continued commitment to Appleseed.
Had fun, still sore. Have lots to learn. Really trying to convince myself that I don't need a Ruger 10/22, my mossberg 702 is accurate enough. I don't think I'll win that one.
What a wonderful weekend. Shooters had a great grouping from the start, which made it easier to get everyone to get their rifles zerod.
Thank you for a great weekend. This was Appleseed #4 for me. And I learned a few things to add to all the great things I learned in previous Appleseed events. You guys got me excited to try out a rimfire KD event.
I greatly appreciate what you guys do. I absolutely believe you all are making a difference with the Appleseed program. Keep up the fantastic work.
Don't be surprised if you see me again someday. I'll use any excuse to visit my son. Appleseed is a better excuse than most others.
:F
It was such a pleasure to attend this event with my two children. We all had a great time and are so happy to be a part of Project Appleseed. Thank you so much to all the volunteers who did a fantastic job with so much great instruction and history!
Thank you so much for those who attended and thank you for providing us feedback. I sure do hope to see you on the Appleseed trail again soon!!
