It was a great weekend to go shooting this past weekend. We had a small, five people, but motivated and energized group of shooters on the line. The group started a little rough on Saturday. We had some pistol malfunctions that required us to pull a loaner, and it required one of our shooters to leave early to get his pistol fixed. We had two brand-new shooters with us, and they did very well. All shooters showed progress at the end of the weekend. Instruction went well on the first day, and we got three PQTs in before the end of the day. On Sunday, we went through a Big Dot Little Dot competition, six PQTs, and the two Hits Count targets.
In the end, we got one new Pistoleer™ shooter, and most shooters had peak scores in the 170 - 190 range. With a little more practice, they could all be Pistoleer™s.
