We had an amazing weekend in Battle Creek this last weekend in spite of what Mother Nature threw at us. On Saturday sixteen shooters came to the line to celebrate our Second Amendment rights. In true American spirit they endured the extreme heat and humidity of the day and we had several requalifying rifleman scores from returning shooters. On Sunday the rain threatened to drown us but in spite of the near constant downpour we added two new rifleman to our ranks. Well done all!
Congrats to Jared and David on scoring rifleman this weekend. Congrats also to Molarman who shot a requalifying score on the first AQT of the weekend and took an Orange Hat and joined our instructor corps. We also had several other shooters who were on the verge of scoring rifleman. Hang in there, gang! A rifleman persists! You will get there!
I want to thank the Sportsman's Club of Battle Creek for hosting our event this weekend. You folks are amazing and the new pavilion on the pistol range was such a welcome relief during the heat and rain this weekend. I also want to thank my instructors for their dedication and persistence this weekend. They made sure our shooters were taken care of, that they had everything they needed to succeed, and were always ready to go the extra mile with our shooters. This weekend would not have been a success without you all.
A huge thank you to...
Sportsmen's Club Of Battle Creek for use of the range, and facilities.
Those who worked on the concrete floored cover for the range.
A great bunch of shooters to work with.
A great bunch of hatted folks of different colors; all working together for another enjoyable shoot.
Our forefathers, for their willingness to set up what we now enjoy. May we all appreciate it enough to be willing to preserve it.
