We had a great pistol clinic in Dubuque despite the hot and humid weather. Everyone kept hydrated and pushed through the day with great persistence and fortitude. Congratulations to John, Adam, & Kurt for qualifying with the following scores:
- John: 222, 220, 210
- Adam: 222, 223
- Kurt: 223, 216
Kudo's to everyone else for all the strides you made improving your pistol shooting skills.
Many thanks to the Izaak Walton club for hosting our event. I also need to thank Mark and Cort for driving halfway across the state to help instruct. It is always a pleasure to work with these two guys. And finally, I'd like to thank all the shooters for being such a great group to work with and for all their help tearing down and loading my van.
Here is a picture of our group.

I would like to thank all of the instructors for their time and effort and all they do especially Mark and Cort for driving 3 hours to be there. Thanks to everyone for attending. This was my fourth Project Appleseed and first Pistol Clinic. I have enjoyed and learned a lot at each event. What a great program. Job well done.
Thanks again, John
A good day with great people! Thank you everyone!-mark
This was a great time!
Shortly after I started driving home it dawned on me that Mark attended the KD in 2022 in Searsboro. I spent the entire day wondering where I had met him before, haha. It's great to see some of the same faces at these events!
