This past weekend at Bench Rest Rifle Club in Wright City, MO did not disappoint!
It's not often in mid-July when you say, "Could this weather get any more perfect?" Partly cloudy with temps in the low 80's!
We had a small but mighty line of eight total shooters. They were a safe and very engaged group, and showed great improvement over the weekend.
This weekend produced two riflemen – Terry (222) and Brian (217), plus 2 instructors re qualified Flintlock54 (219) and yours truly (221).
In addition to the riflemen, we also had AdmiralKirk advance to a red hat instructor and Brian - Airborne_fueler "answered the call" by taking an orange hat to begin his instructor journey.
Overall, this weekend was a great one with the shooters walking away with new shooting skills and new admiration of the patriots that fought for our freedom.

I always am filled with admiration for the hard work and spirit showed by our shooters and instructors alike. This group reinforced that notion and there were a few more standouts- our youth shooters who persisted and Nathan who fired a LOT of 7.62mm.

Best July shoot weather I've seen. Two Riflemen and a guy with a M1A that was knocking on the door with irons.
Was a great weekend for learning and even got to get in a rapid fire AQT.
