Skowhegan Sportsman's Club hosted our annual July Appleseed and for once it wasn't the hottest day of the year!
The recent heatwave had broken earlier in the week and "our" weekend was perfect for shooting and learning history.
Frank set the pace with six rifleman scores at his first Appleseed, proving that Marines tend to be proud rifleman. Joe persevered and scored Rifleman late in his first Appleseed after sniffing around it most of the day. We were all impressed with our youngest shooter, who listened and calmly put up Sharpshooter scores one after the other. William Diamond would be proud.
