What a glorious father's day weekend in NH. We had our first rifle event sell out at Pioneer in recent memory with 20 students. Sixteen were at their first ever Appleseed event. We set the pace the students needed and had a safe and enjoyable weekend. We also had our special guest Paul P. with his live fire demo of his long land brown bess with period dress. Thanks Paul, we appreciate you.

We had mmirate, medved and Seangn42 deliver the strikes on Saturday and Nightpoison, mmirate, Luigi and MattNH shared some DOM on Sunday. Along the way we had instructor RangeDog requalify with a 242 and we minted two new Riflemen. Congrats to Ben on his 217 and congrats to Shane on his 217 followed up with a 216.

We saw so much improvement with groups shrinking, the drills brought things together and our KD saw so many hits after calculating the holdovers. What a great shoot.
My best Appleseed to date! Most of the shooters were beginners, some old, two very young, and some teenagers. A great bunch of folk eager to learn and challenge themselves. Not my best performance, personally, quite poor in fact, but I sure was glad to help set them on a fun and rewarding path of marksmenship.
What a blessing to grab a new bunch of shooters and ensure their future shooting shall be disciplined and safe and shall reward them with continuous self-improvement.
