Title: Pistol IBC Planning Thread
Post by: TheMenace on June 17, 2024, 01:42:15 PM
Have you ever wondered what it takes to become a Pistol Instructor?

The current path to qualify as a Pistol Instructor:
- Qualify as a Full Instructor (Red Hat) under the Project Appleseed Rifle Program of Instruction*
- Attend an Appleseed Pistol Clinic (APC)
- Shoot a 210 or better on the Appleseed Pistol Qualification Test (PQT)*
- Attend a Pistol IBC, led by a Charter Pistol Instructor.  The candidate shall attend an APC ahead of attending a Pistol IBC.
* If not already a Redhat when attending the IBC an IIT will be bumped to Pistol Instructor upon earning the Redhat.
* If the candidate has not shot a Pistoleerâ„¢ score at an APC the candidate will be bumped to Pistol Instructor upon shooting score.

There are those among us who would like to become an Appleseed Pistol Instructor. I'm offering an opportunity for those people to attend a Pistol IBC in Central Florida. The date is Sep 7-8. The place is the Central Florida Rifle & Pistol Club, Orlando.
If there is enough demand, a one-day APC will be held on Friday, Sep 6.

Please PM me if you would like to attend so that I may make ready.

Thanks!
Dennis
