I know it seems like I start every AAR like this, but....MAN, what a great weekend with fellow patriots, learning marksmanship and American heritage.
We had a 100% Pistoleer™™™ qualification for those shooters that were able to stay through the 2 days...that's certainly a record for me. Congrats to Mike, Takedown, Lonnie, Will and Mark. Special callout to Lonnie who persisted through and focused on the finer points with lots of good coaching...and breaking through with a 210 (and subsequent baptism from the pseudo-waters from the North Bridge. Mike, Elizabeth, Galina - looking forward to seeing you at future events where we can continue the skills improvements (and solve Mike's "Glock Perfection" feeding issues ;D ) .
Sunday was especially enjoyable as we used shooter feedback to drill down on specific skillsets to work on, and the 30 minute "free form study hall" with 1-on-1 coaching as a great use of time as well.
Congrats to Mark and Will for winning the centerfire and rimfire know-your-limits fun shoot and winning FABULOUS PRIZES
Great history as usual from our cadre, including the 3-Strikes, Whittemore and good discussions of Sam and Sam.
Also as usual, Shoot Boss didn't really have time to take pix... :pics:
It was a weekend full of great instructors and great students at the Pistol Clinic in Watervliet. It was great meeting everyone. I look forward to seeing you all on the trail.

Sunday, Starlet had a real 'shot' at starting her morning right with a freshly brewed cup of coffee. But then, in a tragic turn of events, a fumble dropped the container, causing a 'brew-ha-ha' as her precious coffee spilled everywhere. It was like a 'mug-ical' disaster! Well, since spilling her morning brew was the worst that happened that today, then it was a 'percolatin' success! ;D
