What a great weekend for Liberty. We had 20 individuals come together on Saturday morning to learn about our shared Heritage and Marksmanship at Deer Creek Conservation Club near Jonesboro, IN. When it came time to leave on Sunday afternoon, our youngest participant was disappointed it was over. We had a very fun and safe time at this event. Everyone made a new friend/s.
Super, high-level comments from me:
- This event was a lot of fun to run
- A lot of passion for our shared-heritage was seen this weekend
- The participants were connected with our nation's roots
- The marksmanship instruction presented was very good and the results on paper showed
- Everyone showed great skill
- Two people stepped up to join our ranks by volunteering as new Instructors In Training
- Our partnership with Deer Creek Conservation Club continues to generate new memberships for them
- The more time spent with Appleseed people, the more time you want to spend with Appleseed people
- The crew that answered the call to help, [JHB, Pookie, Fidget, TinaMarie, Hemi286, and goodoldfriend], brought their A-game
- A special thank you to the folks that came to spend their weekend with us as opposed to the myriad of other opportunities a beautiful weekend in May offers

I had a wonderful time at the event this weekend. I was impressed with all the people who showed up to learn about our heritage and marksmanship.
I saw improvement with everyone's skills and encourage you all to practice and persist. It is worth it to gain the skills to get a Rifleman patch.
Thank you all for allowing me to serve you in some small way.
Thank you for an excellent event. It was fun and I plan to sign up for the next two events at Jonesboro this year. I'm glad my coworker who is an instructor for Appleseed in Utah told me about this.
I updated the link for images. There is a new one at the bottom with cleared Hits Count targets and the commemorative quarters.
I am going to bring a rifle next time I come to an event there. I want to try to earn a quarter. :P
Thank you instructors for your help and service this past weekend.
Luke and I have quite a bit of equipment and skill issues to work on for the coming season.
I had intended to grab a few extra red coats and AQTs but forgot. Is there a PDF copy of these available?
For anyone local to the Indianapolis area we are members of the Danville conservation club. Not too many places to shoot around here so feel free to reach out if you would like to be a guest at the range.
It was a wonderful fun event! Thank you all for a great time! Students were awesome!
More updates to pics. Thanks for sharing them with me.
Mike46,
I have some of each you can have. I drive to Danville a couple of times a month and could drop them off one day.
Thanks for a great weekend. The whole family enjoyed it. My older sons are in hot pursuit of the rifleman badge and they're getting close. They're already planning for their next Appleseed. It was fun to see the improvement across the board. Great to be able to share this with friends too. The fundamentals of marksmanship are basic, but there's still a lot to take in and get it all applied at the same time. Thanks for the instruction. And the history-stories of our heritage.

Thanks for the offer Hemi. A friend dropped some off the other day.
