What a fantastic event! We had 12 Trail Life boys ranging in age from 5 to 12 on the line. We gave the boys (and Dads) an introduction to Project Appleseed, and how fortunate we are to be able to hold events such as this, and encouraged them to come back to a one or two-day event. The boys listened intently as we talked about some of the roles that young boys, even boys their ages played in the Revoluationary War. The boys soaked up the instruction and it showed with the very first squares shot. There were some very good questions asked which prompted some teachable moments.
To end the day the boys shot two Hits Count challenges, Tad scored an impressive 52 and Perry a 43. Tad shot at the one-day event two weeks prior and it sure showed on his targets. We had some other great scores Leo, Eli and Nate all scored in the 30s, while Philip, Levi and Titus scored in the 20s. Mike, Dutch, Fletcher and Keith were not far behind. ALL did a great job of following the safety rules, and I'm pretty sure they all had tons of fun!
Thank you to all of the instructors, (Gunjunkie, Mrs. Waky, Waky, StanTheMan, and Bristang) for providing great hands-on one-on-one instruction.

Florida? That red clay on the mats and all over the kids looks a lot like GA and AL. Despite that, it looks like you had an awesome event.
Looks like great fun! Congratulations boys! You've started on the path to a bigger journey! See you on the line soon! Well done instructors!
Way up here in the North, we're refer to Crestucky (Crestview) as Lower Alabama. **)
