My club's range has target drops at 25 yard - not meters.
So I'm thinking if I scale to 90% I'd have appropriate practice targets?

91.44% if you want to get picky......
I feel like I'm a 7' cheat...
Once you can shoot those 1" squares at 25 yds it probably won't matter. It seems that people don't stay in the 210 scoring range for very long.
180,190,202,196,192,228 Those were my scores before I made rifleman. Once you get it, your score will jump to the 230s probably. Even if you've been shooting at 75' instead of 82. Just don't bring it to 60' :)

Leave the scale alone but be more critical of your groups. 4MOA is pretty generous. Set your goal to 2MOA.. Small groups is applicable at 25M, 25yds or 25 feet...

"Aim small, miss small"? ;)
You can always use a .22 and forgo the .30 cal rule. Should be close enough.
Most folks don't realize that the rule exists here because the targets were scaled a little smaller, on purpose, to compensate for the difference of the .308 dia bullet.
So, they're already scaled small enough that a touch at full distance would be a touch at 25 meters. And would be a miss with a .22.
