My goodness what a great time by all. 12 attendees who were mainly repeats. New folks included a Federal Judge and son, an appeals court attorney and son, a massage therapist, and a couple of others. Rich Gilliland, TSRA Western Regional Director, came out and fired a memorial volley of 13 rounds commemorating the first 13 slain on April 19th with period flintlock muskets. Pictures to follow. A great demonstration of unity of purpose by TSRA and Director Gilliland with Appleseed.
We had 7 IITs assisting, an unusual number however they all must be lauded for their willingness to be involved with this special event. A tip of the Special Sombrero to CSHR, JRich, Grizzled One, Trailblazer, duc-dog, Marcia Allen, and Mateo.
Had the husband of JRich become a Rifleman, thereby ensuring domestic tranquility in the Richardson household. And Wade immediately accepted an Orange Hat offered him by SamD.
SamD- a man amongst men, a Shoot Boss of talent. He guided this endeavor today and yesterday.
And we all laughed and had fun both days so a good time was had by all, instructors and attendees. Attendees- Great folks and excellent shooters. Many knocking on the door but the winds were playing havoc with projectiles and targets.
Next shoot up- El Paso FBRG May 16-17

Someone ???? jumped in and started second AAR so I'll move mine here. &)
A fine shoot to celebrate with.
All highly motivated people hungry to learn, and they did.
Musket salute provided courtesy of Rich Gillleland of the TSRA, His son and a friend.
Plenty of wind which we used to good advantage in teaching.
As always made some new friends and got to renew acquaintance with some old ones.
Appleseed people are the best.
Mateo and JRICH made their IIT debut today. Both deeply appreciated! TrailBlazer and the Grizzled One each added their contributions to the effort, with CSHR and DucDog arriving unexpectedly. Each member of the training staff has a special contribution that they make, each with a different background and different experience to bring to the table. They work together very well, and I value each of them. They help make Appleseed fun.
Sadly we only brought one more Rifleman into the ranks this weekend, but it was a special one, bringing domestic tranquility back to the household. JRICH made it at the Community College shoot last month and Wade put his together yesterday. We have another fine team of instructors in the making with these two. I look forward to spending many pleasant shoots with them.
It went so smooth I find it hard to come up with any more memorable events, and who needs any more after a fine shoot like this one. O0
Pictures will follow soon.

Sounds like you were fully staffed. :o And Sam must have slid into that SB position when my head was turned...congrats mi amigo! [my Spanish sucks!] O0 ;D
Personally, I think Sam was on a scouting mission to entice some of those orange sombreros back to the Land of Enchantment. You better watch out WestTX; why do you think their program has taken off so rapidly? ;)
Best wishes to all of you...
