Another glorious weekend for America!
The weather was nice! We had a spritz of shower on Saturday and little bit warm also. Great California weather.
Lots of amazing attitudes. Lots of improvements as the weekend progressed. I believe we had 6 first time Appleseeder's and they all did great. I got a lot of smiles and a lot of great feedback.
It was great to see the returning students helping out the first timers. It's a good thing I have a couple of orange hats here, as I think they'll be getting new homes soon.
Robert cleared all four red coat targets! Not to mention posted 4 repeat rifleman scores (225, 222, 227, 229) Great shooting!
Dan also a repeat rifleman posted 212, 218, 224, 217, 214 with 2 cleared hits count targets!
Scott coming back with a 217 and a cleared hits count!
Tim also cleared a hits count!
Special shout out to Pinky for clearing a hits count target! It made every ones day at how excited she was to clear it.
and last but not least, Chris who made his first rifleman and posted 221, 220, & 229! And cleared the hits count target to wrap up the weekend. All in his first event.
There wasn't a single student who didn't improve greatly over the weekend. and I'm pretty sure had a great time!
Huge thank you to the instructors. You guys did a top notch job, as those scores clearly show and you inspired hearts and minds. Well done!

Thank you, I couldn't have done it without you
Thank you to all of you for making my weekend great again!
Sounds like a great weekend, wish I could have made it!
What a great weekend of new shooters, experienced shooters, improving skills, and overcoming obstacles.
This was the first shot of the weekend at Morgan's shingle.

If anyone would like a full size version of these photos, please let me know. Thank you Chris, Darryl, Gareth, and Bill for teaching me the ropes. Thanks to students for giving me a chance to improve as an instructor in training.

A huge shout out to the staff, and another great weekend.
Pinky and I both enjoyed ourselves, and even though neither made rifleman, both of us clearing the Red coats is keeping us motivated.
I think that my sling mount snapping in the middle of that AQT blew my best shot at rifleman for the weekend. It was my best standing and transition to seated, but shooting the two prones without a sling was not going to cut it.
Pinky took a bunch more pictures. Link is here m:

Awesome pics. Thanks Jason, you did great this weekend!
Missed you there Craig, hopefully we see you in a couple of weeks in Sac.
Yeah Tim, glad to see you both and glad to see you both doing great! I'm excited for the next one, as I'm confident Pinky will be getting that patch soon!
I have two goals next time.
1) become a rifleman.
2) not to have to do the safe rifle dance again. ^:)^
Ordered 4 tickets for 2024, and we have been training.
Pinky nailed a 268/300 at our last Sporter match.
I've been doing timed practice AQT's, and changed my gear. No more composite rails to break under sling tension.
Earmarked 1 set of tickets for Sac Valley, and 1 for Concord.
Looking forward to 2024 date announcements.
