Hello Friends! In April of this year my daughter and I attended our first Appleseed event. The history was so compelling I went home and read Paul Revere's Ride by David Hackett Fischer. It was a great read that influenced my wife and I to spend our anniversary in Boston exploring our nations history. Just yesterday we returned home from Boston, Lexington and Concord having visited so many familiar sites. From Paul Revere's home and Old North Church in Boston to Lexington Green, Battle Road and North Bridge in Concord to name just a few. We threw tea in Boston Harbor (this is the 250th anniversary year!), hiked Battle Road, stood behind boulders where Captain John Parker and his militia got their revenge and watched re-enactors fire muskets all deepening our appreciation for this critical part of history.
Thank you to Appleseed and all the instructors who have fathered the flame of liberty through the events, stories of the three strikes & dangerous old men and marksmanship. Keep it up!
