This past weekend's 25m Rifle Clinic at Fernan Rod & Gun Club was a good learning experience for all. We had a smaller-than-usual number of shooters (7), but with 5 instructors on Saturday this meant they all got a lot of individual attention and coaching. With four youth shooters, it was a great opportunity to help introduce and practice good safety and shooting skills that will last a lifetime.
Congratulations to Josh Allen, who re-qualified as a Rifleman and volunteered to become an Intructor-in-Training (IIT). We're happy to have him and look forward to working with him at future events. Huzzah!
With scores in the 190s, several other shooters came within just a few points of earning the designation of "Rifleman". Patience, persistence, and attention to detail will get you there! We look forward to seeing you again soon, and to presenting you with a well-earned "Rifleman" patch.
