We kicked off a "double-header" weekend with a one day rifle clinic on Saturday (and a one day Pistol clinic on Sunday) at Brownells' Big Springs Shooting Range. The Rifle Clinic on Saturday was granted sunny, pleasant summer weather, while the Sunday Pistol clinic, not so much. See the AAR for the Pistol Clinic on that.
We had a great group of shooters eager to learn and improve their marksmanship skills. We also talked extensively about our shared American heritage and I'm so proud of this group's engagement and passion for liberty.
We started our day with our Hits Count Red Coat target to gauge our group's baseline ability. Two in our group cleared the target. Congrats to Brian and Dave. Also, congrats to Josh for clearing the Hits Count target in the afternoon. Outstanding!
We were able to get in three AQT's before days end. Congratulations to Zane for earning his Rifleman's patch and to Zeb for re-qualifying!
And last but not least, congratulations to Brian for stepping up to take an orange hat and joining the program as a fellow instructor. Huzzah!
