A hot and sticky day but we were thankful we did not get to three digits like some in our nation are feeling. We kicked off the day presenting Phoebe with her Red Hat - HUZZAH! Participants - you should be proud of sticking in there and giving it your all right up until the very last round placed in your Redcoat targets. I think the most improved award would go to Jameson. This kid came out with a brand new, unmodified, never been shot Ruger 10/22. First shots were not on paper, helped him get it sighted in and by the end of the day he was effective to 100 yards. And another youth, Oliver who was giving his dad a run for his money. Molly, keep stretching and working to get into those more stable positions, very impressed you scored well seated while shooting the prone target.
