Title: Henry Homesteader 9mm carbine?
Post by: M1Rifleman on June 23, 2023, 12:59:04 PM
Hello, has anyone seen the new Henry "Homesteader" 9mm carbine? Sweet little rifle, love how it looks kinda like a BAR. I was considering getting one for my wife. Does anyone have any experience with one? The only thing I'd want to change is remove the barrel-mounted aperture rear sight, and add a tech sight type aperture to the receiver. Anyone know if there is an easy way to do this?

Thanks!

Honest Outlaw on Youtube had a lot of issues with the one he got.  Mostly feed issues if I remember correctly.

No FTF's or FTE's and it shoots where I aim it. Tested with several ammo. (ammo used 65gr ARX, 115 WWB, 147 Ranger and 124 Sig hp's)
I haven't had any major issues so far.
A couple nit picky ones. The mag release button on the Glock mag conversion could be a little higher. The LOP could be a little longer. (but then I'm 6'4").
Still waiting to test the SIG/SW magwell conversion.
