A great weekend with great weather and some very good instructors.
We had 13 shooters and 8 instructors. With ages from 12 to about 70. There were two shooters that had to us tables (new for me) but they both loved shooting and learning the history. Most everyone said they would be back for more instruction and some more history.
They all went to the KD range and learned how 22LR rounds drops and 5.56 rounds raise over 100 Yds. I love the science behind trajectory.
Tar Heel was promoted to full instructor. He worked really hard to get to this point. Now he is ready to start the journey to SB.
Having both Maximum Ordinate and Cleveland as SB and instructor was great. We all learned a lot. The learning will continue as we all go forward. The youngest instructor (Bolt) did outstanding as she learned she has a voice.
Pretty range... wish we had one like that nearby.
It was great to finally get to work an event at the Home Range and meet some of the NC cadre. Hopefully, I can make it back soon.
Huzzah,
Cleveland
Looks like a great event -- this is another range on my bucket list!
