Special thanks for the Clinton County Famers and Sportsman Association for the use of the range for the weekend.
The shoot started out with 18 shooters with 13 being new shooters and one being a youth shooter. The total number of Cadre for the event was a total of 14.
The temperatures started out cool on Saturday morning and continued to rise along with the humidity. The shooters were hydrating, but one student went home early due to the heat. The students had great teachable of attitudes, and made the blocks of instruction a joy to teach.
Sunday started out with the forecast of a storm rolling in just before lunch break, the weather man did not disappoint us and we had a downpour. The group headed to the clubhouse for further instruction and lunch. After drying out a bit, and hearing the DOM's and the KD block of instruction and group was able to get back to the firing line.
Sunday afternoon, we broke up into three teams. Team Paul Revere, team William Dawes, and Team Samuel Prescott. They engaged a Couch and TV target aggressively, with team Prescott winning out but it was close. Fabulous prizes were handed out and a good time for all.
We added two new Red Hats to the Cadre, Hiker Matt and Owl1. They did an outstanding job throughout the weekend! REDNINE took his first stab at telling history by doing all three DOM's during out rain break. He knocked them out of the park! Shadow870 told the compelling story of Nancy Morgan Hart during Sunday afternoon hydration break.
Congratulations to our new rifleman Zack with a 217 and Jason with a 213,215, and 229.
Three received the coveted Ohio Patch Saturday Morning Elliot, Terry and Zack. Elliot and Zack cleared and the Redcoat as well on Sunday morning. Mark a returning Rifleman was ear to ear in Smiles after clearing the Redcoat on Sunday afternoon and receiving his Ohio Appleseed Patch.
Special thanks for all the instructor who were able to make great weekend of liberty happen! Charley, Longrifeman, Doc Willi, Rattlehead, Griffin, Redleg, Naga, Shadow870, Hiker Matt, Owl1, REDNINE, Octopus, and LadySureShot.
I would like the thank the shooters whose persistence with all the weather obstacles occurring during the entire weekend was inspiring to us all.

Good Ole' Bay 7 was the place to be last weekend!
We made riflemen. We cleared Redcoats. We paid homage to the Fathers of Our Liberty!
We learned that it takes work to remain free and that we owe it all to those Greater Men Than We.
Long Live the Republic!
Was a fantastic weekend! The weather was challenging on both days and the shooters were persisting through the adversity. Was great meeting new shooters and instructors, alike. A HUGE thanks to all who participated. I'll try to get a few pics up this evening.
Great job Chief! Kim and I are thinking about accepting your invite and joining you on your turf sometime soon.
Thanks Chuck,
You and Kim have been some of my biggest supporters, and that means a lot. I thought Kim and I was discussing you guys shooting a Winterseed! Not many of the Florida Cadre have those blue ipatchs.
Yours in Liberty,
Chief
Congrats Chieflane O0
Hope to be on your line in the future
