Matt did a fantastic job planning and executing his third SBiT event. The organization as a whole is fortunate to have you, and I (and others in the local area) are extremely grateful to have you helping to carry the load. Thank you for stepping up to take the new green hat, and taking the task so seriously. I know for a fact that you took the advice offered by multiple SBs under consideration and came back for more, asking great clarifying questions.
For those that don't know Matt, he is also a strong pistol shooter and has already proven an excellent pistol instructor. The North Texas crew is fortunate to have the ability to regularly hold 25 meter rifle events, KD events and pistol events - Matt is right there in the middle of these events, passing on knowledge and driving home the history and heritage to all of our fine participants. Way to go sir!
Congratulations, Matt!! well done!!!
Great to hear, Matt. Congratulations!

CONGRATS!
Congratulations Matt! ^:)^
Thank you all so much! I remember when I took my first Appleseed with Mrs. Smith acting as SB in New Mexico. I really liked the history and interestingly enough, it was only my second professional class for shooting. Her and her instructor's passion and how the line was ran impressed me. Even more importantly, the mission called me.
A year and a half later (and many other classes taught and taken later) I'm happy to be a part of the program. I genuine look forward to hanging with the North Texas crew for every event. I really want to thank (alphabetically) AF5US, Captain, Ghostring, Kproctor, Steck, and all the other gray/green hats who've helped me get here. If I forgot your name or didn't mention it it's because I'm typing this on my phone after a 12 hour day.
After seeing many other instructors and professionals I really believe Appleseed is one of the best courses (definitely when it's ran by the Texas Crew ;).
Congrats dude!

I'm super sorry I wasn't able to attend your SBIT 3 but I was rooting for you the whole time. I'm incredibly proud of you my dude. From before you joined the program I thought to myself this dude knows what he's about. The programs lucky to have you and I know north texas is in good hands with you and your fancy hat. Congratulations brother you earned it
Congratulations!!! 🎉
Congratulations!!!!
For those of you who have said "Well Done!", I would fully agree. Matt ran last weekend's Appleseed, and it was well done. He paid attention to detail, engaged all of the other hats, and listened to shooters. His shoot bossery set a high standard because that's what he demands of himself.
I echo; "Well Done!"
