We just finished an amazing weekend of instruction and learning in Shelby, Indiana. Of course, it wasn't without challenges of heat and humidity! But our students very quickly adapted and overcame the obstacles. This event was a rather unusual Friday and Saturday event in order to allow people time for more traditional activities on Sunday. This was a great approach as we were able to have people come that would not otherwise be able to attend. I would do that again in a heartbeat! It was such a pleasure to work with so many fine Americans. Once again, I am amazed at the caliber of people that this program attracts, to include both our students and all of our instructors and Applecore, who came out to work with us. I never seem to have a bad weekend with Project Appleseed. Please feel free to add any of your own comments, memories, or photos on this thread! It was a pleasure to get to know you all.
I want to thank everyone for making this a great 2-day event. Congrats to Chuck for scoring Rifleman. I also want to welcome Chuck and his family to our Indiana Cadre. Having 3 families fill the majority of the firing line was awesome. To Bob, Chuck, and John, thank you for sharing your family time with us and Project Appleseed. I look forward to seeing all of you at another event.
