You are all invited to attend a FASCINATING lecture on new history-altering research related to the battles of Lexington & Concord. THURSDAY, JUNE 8TH AT THE SHARON, MA HISTORICAL SOCIETY.
Program title: Bullet Riddled Artifacts: Objects of Memory From the First day of the American Revolution
We are thrilled and honored to have Joel Bohy share his latest research at our June 8th annual meeting. A Concord native, Joel is a specialist in historic arms and militaria who has spent his life advancing the scholarship of the American Revolution. He has vast knowledge regarding the engagements in Lexington and Concord and is an acknowledged expert on artifacts associated with those battles.
He will describe the recent archeological digs and state-of-the-art ballistic testing that he and his colleagues have been conducting at sites associated with the events of April 19, 1775. Using 21st century crime scene investigation techniques Joel and his colleagues have forensically examined dozens of ball (bullet) strikes in surviving structures between Concord and Cambridge. The caliber of the recovered balls, and their trajectory tell an undeniable story. Additionally, the type and exact location of artifacts unearthed in recent archeological digs (included unprecedented searches of protected land) has prompted this dedicated group of experts to re-write an incorrect history that has stood for almost 250 years. This new evidence tells a compelling story and Joel will share that fascinating narrative with us.
Mr Bohy is an appraiser on Antiques Roadshow and is Director of Historic Arms & Militaria at Bruneau & Co. Auctioneers.
The business portion of the meeting begins and 6:30 PM at the Museum, 16 High St. Sharon, MA. The lecture will begin about 7:00 PM.

What is the date of the presentation?  If it has passed, was the presentation recorded?

Thanks,

Thanks!  This is good motivation to leave work on time in the MDT time zone.

I wanted to attend but had a conflict.  Is there any chance it was recorded?

I'm curious to hear about it from someone that was able to attend.  How did it go?

I'm told the presentation in the link below varies from the presentation made Thursday night, but it still fascinating.
