It was great to spend a weekend with my brothers and sisters in the Ohio cadre, and also the border raiders! The students made great strides in their Marksmanship and it was wonderful to see so many youth involved in discovering their Heritage.
Thanks to Fidget for the .30 cal. scoring gauge and the excellent POI ( I'm willing to "borrow" ideas from anywhere, even MI) .

Agreed, it was a great event. Lots of shooters, many did well. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of safety and muzzle awareness of the kids. I learned that the host facility has a rifle club and many of them are part of that, which makes our job easier. Blue hats and Border Raider red hats were a blessing to have with so many rifles on the line. 5/5 stars, would recommend!
I couldn't agree more. Special thanks to Jeff (our host) and Ron (our shot boss) - everything ran like clockwork, despite the rain! Great to see all our Ohio friends and Fidget from Michigan. Hope to see you all again real soon.
The event faced its fair share of challenges, with one notable hurdle being an instructor from Michigan. :slap: ;D We adapted and overcame and the event featured exceptional students who displayed remarkable dedication and self-discovery, demonstrating significant growth in their abilities and understanding. Despite the challenging weather conditions of rain on Saturday, everyone exhibited adaptability and resilience, successfully overcoming the obstacles that came their way. It was a weekend full of great instructors and students. I felt privileged and grateful to have had the opportunity to spend the weekend with such an exceptional group of individuals. Their exemplary qualities and accomplishments were truly inspiring, and it was a true honor to be in their company. The experience left a lasting impression on me, and I cherish the memories and lessons shared during that remarkable time together. Though next time I'm going to win the race to the Target line! ;D

What a great weekend! Got to see a bunch of friends from Ohio, PA, and that other state too!
And a good thing there a bunch too. A line that stretched from.Canada to Mexico (or so it seemed) needed every bit of help and then some.
Great improvement from our shooters and teachable attitudes made it a super fun time.
And of course, a special thanks to our hosts, Jeff and April!
This is Amy's Dad. Thanks for the great time! I really liked the Saturday night dinner. Sorry, I was not more active still recovering from a fall where I ended up in the Hospital. I had 20 stitches in my forehead and 40 stables in my scalp. Getting better, but if I am not at the top of my game, I choose not to shoot. This event is really for the young people and their families and you have done a great job on this. Maybe I can help out with future events. Next time, I might just bring a small tent with a port-a-potty for the range. Best Regards, James McGee
