The NRA Foundation Grant Program and its supporters work year-long to raise money to be awarded to educational programs, teams, and organizations that support shooting sports. These grants aim to promote and educate the public about firearms safety and history and to encourage participation in shooting sports.
Specific guidelines must be met before application in order to be considered for an NRA Foundation grant. As a 501(c)(3) organization, Project Appleseed is eligible to apply for and receive these grants. This year, the Tennessee team was fortunate to receive an NRA Foundation grant valued at $4,100! The granted merchandise will be divided up amongst TN's SBs for use at their discretion.
This grant will help support efforts within the program, especially with youth and women's groups. Receiving this grant is an important step forward in drawing more people to our line who may not have the supplies needed to attend an Appleseed.
Project Appleseed is grateful to both the NRA Foundation and the Appleseed instructors for working to make this possible. Huzzah!
Fantastic, congratulations! ^:)^
