Sixteen patriots turned out to work on their marksmanship and hear the history of April 19th, 1775. The amount of progress we achieved was remarkable. At the start of Saturday more than half the line either was not effective at any distance, or had a totally non-functional rifle. By the end of the weekend, everyone was effective at some distance and the majority were effective at 400 and/or hit the shingle. I am not exaggerating at all when I say this was the most dramatic improvement I've seen at any Appleseed I've been involved with.
You all put in hard work and it showed.
Some photos!
Some outstanding prone shooting.
Some sitting practice.
Taildragger coaching through the AQT, Luminous Rabbit regaling us about Daniel Morgan and the Battle of Cowpens, and the beautiful Sunday view of the Flat Irons at BRC.
Thanks to all of our shooters for joining us at BRC this weekend. In spite of some dreary weather on Saturday, that did not deter you from coming out with great attitudes and some serious persistence. There was a remarkable amount of improvement over the weekend! Kudos to you all for putting in some serious work. Thanks to Boulder Rifle Club for hosting us for yet another great Appleseed!
