We had quite the Patriots' Day celebration this past weekend in Tishomingo! Thanks again to Murray State College for continuing to let us use their fine facilities -- our Instructor dfbcoach is a professor at the college, and we always enjoy having a good number of his gunsmithing students at our events. We had a great and persistent crowd of shooters (none of whom had previously been to an Appleseed), pleasantly cool weather, burgers and dogs provided by dfbcoach and cooked by some of his students, and in addition to the Volley for Liberty, we had a black powder volley fired by the gunsmithing students with their muzzleloaders they built for class, and a quick muzzleloader lesson by SB Scarecrow. It's also always a pleasure having Captain, our Regional Coordinator, on the line any time he is able to join us. With all the festivities, we were only able to get one AQT in, but it produced a Rifleman! Congrats Jeremiah! I hope to see everyone again soon -- remember we still have several spots open for Norman next weekend.
