It was a beautiful early March weekend at Hobbs Island Shooting Range! We had an enthusiastic group of shooters, an instructor crew ready to share their knowledge, and a range that was as supportive as any we could imagine.
First thing Saturday morning we learned how much the shooters enjoyed the history. There were plenty of questions and lots of interaction to start the day. Once we got into marksmanship instruction we found that the shooters were familiar with their equipment but were equally ready to learn. Quick progress was made and there were smiles all around. On Sunday we got right to work and found the groove. Our top AQT score of the day was 200, which represented significant improvement from the beginning of the day. We learned KD and also proved that the fundamentals work out to 100 yards. That's always a big confidence booster. O0
Thanks again to Hobbs Island Shooting, our instructor crew, and to our shooters. We can't wait to do see you again!
