What a GREAT event! Super bunch of students and a fun bunch of instructors. We started at 8am on Saturday with welcome and safety and then got to it!
First: We added 3, THREE! New riflemen. Huzzah! Alex with a 238, Colin with a 225, and Nicole with a 232 join the ranks of Riflemen. All three of them are new to Appleseed. Alex distinguished himself further by clearing ALL 4 Redcoats of the weekend. Huzzah! For the class we went from 1 cleared Redcoat target on Saturday morning (out of 12) to 5 on Sunday afternoon (out of 10) Huzzah!
We also had 8 of 10 earn their Oreo pack during Natural Point of Oreo.
History was well received and the students had some really good questions about the strikes of the match and dangerous old men. Well done to all! Pictures will follow!
I have to agree, this was a fun event!
No complaints from any of the students - even when they were shivering in the cold morning air on Saturday. Everyone listened and improved with every new building block we gave them. It was great to see a lot of lightbulbs flicker ON!
The gun club is proud to support this level of training - I'm so glad Appleseed is here.
It was also good to see OldDominionIron make Red Hat! He earned it!
Stay Vigilant,
