Howdy Everyone
We have another one in the book. It was cold, windy, the ground was mush and soggy with water rising up like it was being squeezed out for lemonade. The mud was runny, thick and slippery. It was a tough two days but we got through it.
Emily was attending her first Appleseed, she came prepared with rifle, sling, ammo and mat ready to learn the rifleman skill.
Chris was returning, prepared to break 210, Chris was focused and patient.
Dan came ready start working on his SBIT 1, reignite Appleseed Phoenix and the next spot and the next.
I came wondering about the next Appleseed season for Arizona, winter is closing and spring is near. Cold driving wind, low temperatures and snow are giving way to longer days, sun and the beginning of a new season. It was a good two days.
Here is a run down from the past two days.
Chris shot his score, if I remember correctly it was a 228 maybe 232, Chris will know. Hard work paid off, patient persevered and he took an orange hat!
Emily had to work through mechanical sight issues, but she kept working, she moved onto a scoped rifle and kept working and hit a 141 on her first AQT, well done Emily.
Everyone was safe and we had no issues. No odd events, no random issues, just a weekend of shooting.
I thank God for a this opportunity to serve.
