We had 12 ladies show up; all with teachable attitudes. They showed determination and persistence throughout the weekend and as a result, significant progress was made.
The ladies also enjoyed hearing about April 19th 1775, and all the important roles that women played.
The weather on Saturday was gorgeous, but the weather on Sunday was a different story. They wind was blowing like crazy all day long - sustained winds were at about 30 with gusts, but the ladies hung in there and didn't let it bother them at all!
We had two new riflewoman - Kelly scored a rifleman score of 230, and Belinda (adaptive shooter) scored a 242!! Gretchen was knocking at the door with a 201. We had four others shoot a sharpshooter score and three shot marksman scores.
We also had a unique opportunity and took advantage. Our instructor to student ratio was at least 1:1, so our SI and dSB did a mini IBC for the IITs that were present.
I would like to thank all of the instructors that showed up - they made this event a huge success, and I look forward to working with every one of them again!

Thank you Kim and to all the instructors!! I truly appreciate all of the help and encouragement. I feel fortunate and am very grateful to be part of Appleseed family and hope to earn my way into the Rifleman family at my next Appleseed!!

What a fantastic weekend! The host range was really nice, the weather was almost perfect - other than the gale force winds on Sunday. Thank you to Kim and ALL the instructors and volunteers that devote their free time to educating all of us. We appreciate the professionalism and the hours you spend prepping for an event like this. It was well organized and well run. I am going to practice...lol, that means "get a new rifle" and I'll be back. AND I'm going to work on those transitions...I was sore for a week! Thank you to everyone that spent time on the ground next to me!! Looking forward to the next Ladyseed Event.
I agree Kim, it was a great weekend watching the ladies progress. I look forward to many more events with all the great instructors and seeing the ladies return. This was one of the photos I took of all the ladies.
