What a GREAT weekend and GREAT group of students and instructors. I had a blast! (Pun intended). Weather Saturday was as beautiful as could be, and instruction proceeded well, and we saw good improvement on the targets as the day went on. We had some really good questions following history, and keen interest in all of the subjects.
Weather Sunday did it's best to make up for Saturday. Sunday was -awful-. Fortunately, we were able to move to the clubhouse with the attached indoor range and continue in the dry if not warm.
Two of our students earned the VA patch for clearing their redcoat targets! Congratulations to John and Luke for that fine feat of pistol marksmanship. We also minted 2 new Pistoleerâ„¢s: Arlen and Luke. (Luke was very pleased to have out-pointed his father!)
All in all a great weekend! Many thanks to the students for their time and attention, and thanks to the instructors: Oddsreven, Messer, and JLevine for their help.
This was a really fun class!
The students were great - lots of smiles and good humor (no, not the ice cream!) Everyone paid attention to both instruction and safety information, and everyone improved their shooting skills!
I'm glad RRPC could host this - the Appleseed Instructors make that easy for us to support.
Stay Vigilant,
Messer
